Isadora Almeida

BIM MSc
Collaborator - BIM Director

Isadora’s curiosity for architecture began during an exchange year in Denmark, where she saw how the built environment could shape experiences in ways she had never noticed before. Once she returned to Brazil, she immediately began her architectural studies where she discovered the possibilities of using technology to rethink how buildings are designed and built.

While still in school, she began working with BIM (Building Information Modeling) coordination and quickly fell in love with its potential to not just to organize and optimize digital environments, but to actually transform how projects come together. For her, working in BIM means improving collaboration, clarity, and confidence by helping teams speak the same language, reduce errors, and build smarter.

She later pursued a master's degree in Europe, where she developed a Digital Twin platform for Facility Management using openBIM standards. Her research explores how real-time data and 3D models can support decision-making in the operational phase of buildings. Informed by the ideas of openness, interoperability, and collaboration across the entire lifecycle of a project, Isadora looks for ways to incorporate these ideas into each project she is a part of.
