Our fees reflect the value we bring to our clients. There are multiple factors that go into the cost of what we do. What is the cost of construction? How complicated is the project? What is the scope of work? Where is the project located? What is the size of the project? Typically our fees are range from 8%-10% of the cost of construction. We do not simply base the fee on the cost of construction, but we have found that this industry standard is a good place to start the conversation.

When you work with us you can expect the experience of designing your space to be in-depth and intentional. We make an effort to really understand your needs, wants, and desires; and we balance them with building codes, budgets and site conditions. We closely collaborate with you throughout the process.

It takes a minute to figure out if we are a good fit for each other. This process does not cost you anything. Its only when we provide specific services that fees apply.

This can vary depending on size and type of project. A typical single family residential project may take 6 months to 1 year to design, maybe longer. A commercial build out may take 3 - 6 months to design. Once we start working together, we will discuss the project timeline and milestones.

Absolutely. We have trusted builders we have worked with before and can recommend. We are also able to help source and vet a builder if needed.

Yes and no. We design projects that are specific to a site. So before pen is put to page, we need to understand the constraints and opportunities of the place where the project is located. However, we encourage clients to connect with us at any stage of their project. If there is no site involved, we can help you in the process of selecting a site. We can also get to know you and your likes and dislikes.
