Sarina Butler
AIAS
Graduate Designer
Sarina’s connection to design began through art, where sketching became both a creative outlet and a way to feel grounded. Early experiences in her father’s architecture studio sparked a fascination with the textures, materials, and colors that shape our surroundings. What started as simple drawings soon evolved into a deeper curiosity about how art and design could transform everyday environments.
Building on her studies of the interplay between interior architecture and architecture, she is always looking for ways to use design to connect people to place in meaningful ways. Creative at heart and technically adept, she has a unique ability to find solutions to problems and communicate design ideas with clarity and intention.
Rooted in principles of biophilia and sustainability she uses visual storytelling to design places that bring comfort, connect people to nature, support personal wellbeing and foster a sense of belonging.
Outside of her academic and professional work, she continues to explore the world through sketching and observation, somehow managing to squeeze in some game time.
